What do you get when you cross a geologist with a passion for home brewing and an aerospace engineer with an entrepreneurial spirit? The result is a nano brewery and taproom with heart.
Located at 2 South York Road, Artifact Brewing Hatboro PA is the brainchild of partners Ryan McKinney and Matt Brzowski. They were inspired to do something special after spending years enjoying small batch and home brewed beer with friends, family and fellow home brewers both locally and traveling.
The micro brewery is a state of the art 3 barrel nano brewery. The resulting beers are both tasty and enticing to the senses.
Their most notable offering is their IPA (Imperial IPA). As the name suggests, it is a hefty offering, but well balanced and tasty.
What makes Artifact stand out from the crowd is their attention to detail. They take pride in their customer service and have a strong commitment to providing a fun and friendly atmosphere.
In fact, they go the extra mile by promoting community involvement and sponsoring local sports teams. The borough’s latest brewery is the brainchild of two local entrepreneurs, Ryan McKinney and Matt Brzowski.
They are teeming with energy and looking to make a splash in downtown Hatboro with their latest project, a micro brewpub slated to open this summer at the former PA Wine & Spirits. They are planning to renovate the space into a tasting room in the front and a bar and brewing operation in the rear. They are hoping to receive a variance from the zoning board this month.
