A collaboration between a geologist with a passion for home brewing and an engineer with an entrepreneurial spirit has spawned this nano brewery and taproom. Located at 2 South York Road in Hatboro PA, Artifact Brewing is the brainchild of two friends who met while watching their children play Little League.
Founded in October of 2019, Artifact has a reputation for producing high quality beer and having a solid menu of food options to accompany it. They also offer a wide range of craft cocktails and bottled beer.
They have over 25 different taps, which is impressive for a small brewery in the area. They have a decent selection of local beers and some great collaborations with a few other breweries. They have a good selection of wines and other spirits as well.
The ambiance is top notch and the staff is very knowledgeable about their wares. There is an outside seating area which is a nice touch as well. There is an interesting art exhibit on display as well.
Their beers are a delight to drink and a big plus is the large monster pint glasses that they provide. It really is a great place to sit, relax and enjoy a glass of their delicious brew.
Another cool thing about this place is their onsite bottle shop. They carry a wide variety of bottles from many different brands, some of which are not available in most other breweries.
The location is ideal as it is only about a mile from downtown Hatboro and a few minutes drive to the Doylestown Mall. It is also within walking distance to other great restaurants and a couple of really good bars.
A great place to stop for a cold one on a warm day, especially in the summertime. They have a wide variety of beers from local breweries, and if you are in the mood for something a bit more special, they have some very tasty craft cocktails as well.
They also have a number of interesting tidbits around the brewery, such as their fly-tying exhibit and a cool video game. This was a fun experience for the whole family, and we will be back to check it out again soon.
This place is a bit of a gem in the Hatboro community, and I highly recommend checking it out for yourself. Their beers are a delight and their brewpub is a nice change of pace from the normal microbrewery.
